...from desperation to education...
The Nepal Charitable Foundation is a federally recognized
501(c)(3) corporation primarily dedicated to investing in the future of Nepal through the promotion of education. Our main
goal is the identification and support of promising poor, rural students. Efforts include aid to families so that their children
may attend school, payment of college fees for future teachers, improvements to inadequate rural schools, and much more. Of
great advantage to our cause is the fact that a small donation in America has a considerable impact in a place where $6 per
month can convey a family from desperation to education. to education.

While Nepal is economically one of the poorest countries in the world, it is incredibly
rich in many other ways. It is a country with a fascinating social milieu of dozens of distinct languages and cultures. One
of the schools supported by NCF includes students from six ethnic groups each with its own language and traditions. Hinduism,
Tibetan Buddhism, and many other religions flourish and even intermix in an amazing harmony. Amazingly friendly people, spectacular
mountains, and cultural wealth all make Nepal a very rich country.
